I can't give you a good first-hand experience of the school's academic prowess, although my friends who have gone there constantly sing its praises, the theatre department blows me away time and time again. As a former company member, the director, Doug Sumey, is one of the most kindhearted and gentle people that I know. He is a fantastic director and he really makes you feel like you're doing the show for yourselves, rather than just for him. Every play I have seen here was fantastic. You can see a play anywhere, but if you want a new world for a few hours , come see an Assumption Rose Theatre production
