As a massive (and controversial) undertaking, LAX created an entire rideshare pick-up/ drop-off area with literally hundreds of cars queued to pick up passengers via app. The area is logically broken down by app, and when you summon a car, a representative is waiting to direct you to a numbered pickup area based on a code that pops up on your phone. You just give the code to the driver and it loads your information. That being said, pickup from any other location is forbidden
