My husband was the victim of a crime 2 years ago. Case was closed a year ago and the 3 perps were sent to prison. We are still waiting to get his possessions back from evidence. Keep getting told we have to talk to the detective working the case in order to do that but the problem is is that we can never seem to get ahold of him. We've come in to the department multiple times, we've left a LOT of messages on his voice mail, etc over the past year and the detective has never bothered getting back to us. Not even once. Now I understand there's a lot going on crime wise in the area but is it really so bad that its impossible to find any time at all in the span of more than a year to give a person their belongings back?
