Well, I should have read these reviews when my husband was talking about refinancing our rental properties. Instead, we were quoted a 4.25% rate with $9,000 closing costs yesterday. Today I get a call that the closing costs are now going to be over $24,000. As if I'm supposed to feel better, she tells me these fees are too high for them to write the loan. Yes, but how did the loan fees nearly triple overnight? And, more importantly, the loan fees are not just too high, they are actually illegal. Can't issue a loan with those types of fees. Stay far, far away.
