We chose the Hyatt Place Las Vegas because of its proximity to Sunrise Hospital. My grandmother had to go through major surgery after being helicoptered to Sunrise from over 100 miles away. We didn't know how long we would need to stay. I booked the room through Costco travel, and when I called the Hyatt Place itself, they were immediately accommodating to our request to pay the room in advance so my grandfather could nap. We got a double bed room, and it came with a small living room (pull out couch). My grandfather had been staying at the hospital and driving back all that distance. The Hyatt Place was able to provide a nice nook for my family and I while we took turns being with my grandmother. By signing up for the Hyatt club member (free) we got complimentary breakfast, which was amazing and top quality. The front desk was exceptional at extending the reservation so my family could continue using the same room. I am so happy. We weren't there for entertainment and the lights of Vegas. We were there for other circumstances and the staff made it a priority to make sure we were taken care of in a hard time. Thank you.
