River Valley Drivers Review of Teleworld solutions
Today, I was coming home down my little dirt road ...
Today, I was coming home down my little dirt road in rural Arkansas and there was a silver suburban with Indiana plates on it in the middle of the dirt road going to my house. I pull up behind the suburban and wait. There was no acknowledgement from anybody in the vehicle. I wasn t even really certain there was anybody in the vehicle. I thought it was possible that somebody had to stop and run out in the woods to urinate. So I give a quick horn honk. Nothing. I give two quick honks and I see someone moving around in the vehicle. It s obvious by now there is no interest in moving. This is a one lane dirt road and the vehicle in the middle of the road. There s a total of three houses down our road. The road dead ends at one of the three houses. A dark glass vehicle from IN on our road is somewhat alarming.
I get my pistol out and stick it in my back pocket. I walk to the vehicle and tap on back of it. The driver side window comes down about half way and the hand points to the left and the guy says, go around. I asked what he was doing out here in the middle of the road and he tells me it is none of my business. Of course I told him, on this road, it is my business. A strange car on our secluded road, in the world that we live in, is always a concern. I told the guy he needed to move or I was calling the police. He retorted that I should call the police, he did not care. Then he said he was doing testing. I asked him where he was from and his response was, I m from hell.
I called the police and two of our county s deputies show up. Your employee argues with them. The arrogance of your company is certainly obvious. After the police had been there for a few minutes, I joined the conversation and I told them had the guy been reasonable and just not parked in the middle of the road and said he was there working with the cell tower, I probably have had to call them. The guy was telling the cops that it was because he was Hispanic. He told me to try to get him fired and see how that works out. I d say that is a pretty good indication that the guy has been through this type of deal several times. So obviously he is immune to any kind of repercussions from the company. Maybe he owns the company. I don t know. I told him I had no intention of trying to get him fired but that I would report this to the state attorney general. I don t know if that approach to this will have any effect or not but at least there will be a public complaint logged into their office.
After he moved over and I passed by to go to my house, of course, this stellar citizen stuck his middle finger out the window. Kudos to your company.
