The Tokyo National Museum is a great place to explore Japanese history and art. I especially enjoyed the beautiful exhibits of samurai armor and ancient pottery. The museum is well organized and the staff are knowledgeable and helpful. I highly recommend visiting this museum if you're interested in Japanese culture.
