I saw the invites for the tryouts, and it reminded me of what a positive and fun experience it was to play for the Wave for not only my son, but for our family as well. My son played for the Wave at multiple age levels throughout his time there leading up through his graduation in 2015. Not only was there an emphasis on the development of baseball skills but there was a unity in the organization that contributed to the development of the players. The program s high expectations and requirement of a strong work ethic challenged its players and resulted in the development of the players both athletically and personally. As a result, my son developed not only into a ball player but also into a strong, capable, compassionate leader. I am thankful my son had the opportunity to be a part of this program.
