Honestly this historic site was a let down. The staff are knowledgable and friendly but there's literally nothing there of historic value. It has all been rebuilt and manufactured. The home that they are "renovating" is not the home GW grew up in. It's just one they built.

There's a lovely reception building with a few artifacts there that are just like what say Martha Washington would have used.

A nice place to visit but if your unto authentic history, I would take a pass on this one.
