The first two days I was treated with dignity as was my roommate a blind African American with acute diabetes. On the last day a nurse named Roslyn came on duty. She systematically dehumanized the poor woman in the bed next to me, allowing her to lie in her diarrhea for over an hour. When I went out into the hallway and elicited help for this poor woman she began her sick terrorizing of me. She is a demented human who delights in the power of the nursing position. I was afraid of her and continue to feel terrible worry for all patients she comes in contact with!
