I recently became a mentor through Big Brothers Big Sisters of Metropolitan Detroit and it has been an incredible experience. The organization does a fantastic job of matching mentors with mentees based on shared interests and values. I have already seen positive changes in my mentee's life, and it is incredibly rewarding to be a part of their development. I highly recommend becoming a mentor with this organization.
