Speaking as an outsider, the palliative care unit ...

Speaking as an outsider, the palliative care unit at Bridgepoint is the bomb. There are reasons as to why nurses don't attend certain patients. From experience, patients reach a certain point where they stop feeling uncomfortable, therefore it is reasonable not to attend to their needs immediately. A colleague of mine has received complaints of her attitude, though from what I heard, she did her responsibilities as a nurse. Good for those nurses who do more than what the job requires, but they are only setting expectations too high for the rest of us nurses. There is no reason we should get the dirty look from those families that show no gratitude.
