I called from the shelter to get furniture for my first apartment, we were told that I needed a letter that stated I was staying at the shelter. I call back another day and they ask if I picked out what I wanted already. I stated no because I haven t gone down to the location yet. But I wanted to know if I had to set up an appointment. I was told no, just bring the letter. My movers had canceled on me because it was raining all day. I called them to ask if I could pick up small things ( pots, pans , rugs , mirror, etc.) And I was told by the guy who works in the furniture department, that the program has to fax the letter over and I would be placed on a waiting list!!! All the workers says something different! I ve been in my apartment for a week now but have no bed , no nothing. You guys need to do a better job helping ppl in need !
