Above ground nothing remains from whatever structures were present in the 1700s. Even the river has migrated away from the course it used to run, which was much closer to the family home. But the organization now running the farm has had good success in piecing the past back together. Last year they finished a reconstruction of the family home, in its original location. (There s a small opening, inside one of the walls, where you can peer down to the home s original stone foundation.) Certainly worth visiting if you're in the area.
