As a former student of the Hawaii state department of education, I can say that my experience was positive overall. The teachers were knowledgeable and supportive, and I received a good education. However, there were also some areas where I felt the department could have done better, such as addressing bullying in schools. Overall, though, I am grateful for the education I received.
