I am writing this review for the public awareness ...

I am writing this review for the public awareness about Dr. Scott D. Ganz, Fort Lee Dental Associates, and how badly he and his staff treated me. He is the worst dentist I have ever experienced in my long life, professionally and ethically. Dr. Ganz is an arrogant, unfriendly, intimidating and rude dentist. Even at one point he screamed at me. After having X-Rays in his office he did not let me know the result of my X-Rays and the status of my teeth and gums despite my repeated requests. Since I was having sensitivity and pain in one of my tooth, I sent him a fax, again asking him for the result of my X-Rays. Still he ignored my fax and did not respond. The X-Ray system he is using is of antiquity, not modern digital X-Ray. He only discussed with me about one tooth that I do not have any problem with. He only talked about his fees of $8,000.00 and not explaining the treatment. My new dentist told me at present I have no problem with this tooth, it only needs to be watched. If it needs any treatment in the future, the fee will be half the price. When I called to make an appointment with Dr. Ganz for my painful tooth, his rude receptionist scheduled me for a week later. She told me the office is closed on Wednesdays and Fridays and doctor is not available on Thursdays. Apparently he works only on Mondays and Tuesdays and is not available for emergencies. Finally I decided not to put up with this dentist, who does not care for his patients. When I went to pick up my X-Rays, his rude office manager, Michelle, screamed at me to get out. It seemed like she was going to attack me if other staff had not pulled her away. I feel this is senior citizen abuse. Dr. Ganz and his staff are not nice people. They have caused me a lot of suffering and pain. Since the incident a month ago I have had sleepless nights and stressful days. I am filing a complaint against Dr. Ganz for his unprofessional and unethical behavior towards me with New Jersey Office of the Attorney General, Division of Consumer Affairs, New Jersey Board of Dentistry. I hope my nightmare experience with Dr. Scott Ganz will help other patients not to use his services.
