The farm show is a great experience for the whole ...

The farm show is a great experience for the whole family. It is s great way to learn more about Pennsylvania agriculture, meet businesses active in agriculture, and explore aquaponics and hydroponics.
However, if you are already active in the Ag industry and wish to look at equipment and supplies, the farm show is not the place to do it. Over the years, it has become more of an educational experience for those unfamiliar with agriculture and practices used in Ag. There's nothing wrong with that, as it gets the public more involved and aware of where their Ag products are coming from.
Overall, it is free to get in, but parking is $15. It's well worth it though, when you park in satellite parking and a coach bus that is heated is provided to drop you off at the front door of the complex, and is there to take you back.
The best time to arrive at the show is early morning. I then recommend going to the food court mid morning (9:30-10) or late afternoon (3-4) as around lunch and dinner, the area is packed. Although the food court is the most crowded area of the whole show.
Fair warning, if you go to the farm show it will take the whole day to see everything, and even then you will manage to miss at least one exhibit. It is also advised to dress warm. The barn areas are kept cool.
