Quite a steep climb to get up to the manor, but it's a manageable walk! Alternatively you can pay for a shuttle from the car park to the top and back. Waddeson at Christmas was lovely! Pretty light displays and good market stalls - My only comment would be there should be more food stalls, as there was only about 3 which inevitably creates long-ish queues.
