This rating is aimed directly at the staff that work in the Psych area. I was brought in against my will and the staff that I interacted with was like speaking to a wall. No emotion, very little to say back, and never truly hearing you. Not sure who my doctor was, only saw him once and had to wait hours after the time scheduled, but he was awful. Yelling at a girl whose heart rate is already going 145 and telling her: you have 3 minutes to stop having anxiety or you re getting an IV . This was stated after I explained I was nervous due to my fear of doctors and needles. I only met one staff member that actually made me feel noticed. The other staff seemed to stay away from their patients as much as possible. Must make them uncomfortable- but never forget the people in there are in the most uncomfortable place in their life. We deserve to be treated just the same.
