Very nice park. Flat iron summit is a great hike, about 6-7 miles from parking lot to summit and back. Leave early during summer months. If you start by 5am, can get all the way up with no sun, as mountain shades ascent. Awesome views. A lot of scrambling over rocks but not technical climbing. Highly recommend. $7 fee for day use current as of June 2016.
