Review of caravel zante hotel

A wonderful hotel.

A wonderful hotel.
The work done is pretty amazing, it really has the wow factor.
We booked a sea view, swim up room and managed to upgrade to private pool. Wow the room was amazing!
The pool we had I think was the biggest private pool, overlooking the beach straight on, and the side of the hotel area/relax pool. The pool we had was bigger than some hotel have for all there customers!
Room had minimal decor that suited the hotel and the feel. Could do with just touch of art of the wall (something modern) I believe to add a final touch!

The spa was really nice and calm, was staff here were smiley and friendly! We had a 45 min massage and added that to our 15mind FREE, so had 1 hour.
Was great, the girls did a good job and seemed very professional. The price would excellent and much cheaper than you would pay back home. We


Beach was fine. Nice long stretch, wish clean and comfy loungers. Part sea rocky and part plain sand.
You got table service by the beach for drinks also (will speak more about this later)

Th food was tasty and fresh everyday for breakfast, lunch (only tried once) and dinner. always different food. Lots little Individual dishes as well the standard buffet style food. Service was friendly and quick.
Drinks normal topped up quickly and plates cleaned quickly also.
My only complaint would for there to be more Greek warm food. Maybe instead of pasta or chips!!!

Reception staff where also knowledgeable of the hotel and area, polite and friendly.

We ate at the restaurant where you get one free meal. Food was fantastic ,well presented, tasty and a good choice in the menu. Staff always here were friendly and efficient.

Sadly the area of tisvili has had its soul teared from it. The areas around is more like something from benidorm or black pool sadly. Although you don't see any of this side from the hotel.
There is really beautiful areas around the island. Sadly this area is not. So make sure you do a tour of the island to see its real, true side.

My only real complaint and why I make it for 4 star is the service speed. When you are at ththe beach it can be 15-20 mins from ordering a drink to getting it!
Also in ththe evening when sitting listening to the evening entertainment. You can wait maybe 30 mins or more for your drink.
This was truly frustrating, annoyin and ridiculous at times! It was so slow, you could dit for 3 hours a D have 2 drinks due to the slow service and staff not paying attention! This really need to be adressen!
It's not the staff fault, more do to with staff levels behind the bar and training.

Other than that a total relaxing and beautiful holiday!
Would go back is the service speed was to be reorganized and improved.
