Impressive architecture, important historical muse...

Impressive architecture, important historical museum, incredible rangers!

When coming through St. Louis, you do not want to miss the St. Louis arch at the Gateway Arch National Park. The park and museum, which lies under the arch, have been greatly beautified and improved in the last three years!. The arch is beautifully constructed out of stainless steel with internal people-moving capsules which will transport you to the top of the arch for beautiful vistas. In the museum lying below the arch, there is a movie on how the construction took place...very interesting and impressive!

Give your kids a fun and educational experience by being involved in the junior ranger program. The kids complete a few simple activities, make a promise to protect the parks, and then receive a badge and certificate from the Rangers. Ask for Ranger Carl Schumacher. He is very friendly, and very good with children. He is a wealth of information about the park and the local history.

Allow 4 to 6 hours to enjoy the history, architecture and educational opportunities of this fabulous complex!
