This facility should not be up and running. As a past health care professional, the staff and administration at TFCHCC are untrained, understaffed, lazy, and exhibit no genuine care towards the wellbeing of their residents. I would HIGHLY suggest looking into all other options before ever contemplating putting a loved one in this very neglectful home. Our mom was left in bed (she is wheelchair bound, not bed bound) for the first 48 STRAIGHT HOURS she was in the facility. It was claimed that it was close to a holiday and it was a weekend as well as the first few days are like a trial period, as if any of these reasons were acceptable excuses to leave a human being in a bed for 2 days straight. The Fort Collins Heath Care Center does not provide ethical, appropriate medical treatment for any resident left under their care.
