Never had a problem with Duracell batteries until ...

Never had a problem with Duracell batteries until now. Bought a couple of AAA batteries dated March 2028 for my TV remote and they only lasted 2 months. That's including 3 weeks that we were away on vacation. Have no idea why and cannot get a refund or exchange.
