I had read great reviews and after a quick phone call with him, I had a good feeling and hired him. He seemed personable and easy to talk to. However, as much as I may have liked him on a personal level, he was not accessible nor reliable. It would take him weeks to respond to me via text, call or email, after I incessantly would try to reach him. I hired him in early November, only to have him start my case in January. He sat on things. The opposing counsel also complained on several occasions that he was not responsive. He interpreted a law incorrectly and led us to try my case in NJ, when it clearly stated otherwise. Hence, I somehow ended up having to pay for my ex's legal fees. I trusted him and believed in him, even after months of this. I held on as long as I did because I liked him as a person. He let me down. I have now started over with new counsel. I have lost money and time because I stayed with him longer than I should have.
