I purchased 8 closet doors (cost 853.00)from Shell Lumber in Miami FL on 3/2 which my client decided he didn t want. The very same day I called and spoke to the sales rep WHO SAID a restocking fee of 25% will be charged and the balance would be refunded. BTW the doors never left Shell Lumber s warehouse and is still in their possession. Today 3/8 I spoke with Shell Lumber after the agreement and was then told that I would NOT be refunded any cash...instead, they told me that I would have to take the doors. A *No refund on purchases* was NOT mentioned prior to payment... This is absolutely unacceptable and POOR customer service. Shell Lumber reneged on their verbal agreement and offered no other possible resolve. I will be taking this issue to small claims court.
