We very much enjoyed this experience. We went mid-morning and it was busy, but not terribly so. We started our visit with one of the Yeoman guards, Clive, who did a wonderful job explaining the history of the tower, and made it very entertaining. I was fascinated with the history of the location, I would definitely encourage anyone going to participate in one of the guided tours. It's about an hour and doesn't cost extra, you just meet where they tell you to go, I think they start on the hour, or maybe every 30 mins. We walked for a while after the tour, and still didn't see everything before becoming too tired to continue. My 2 yr old had a meltdown at one point and one of the other Yeoman walking around stopped to talk to her and got her to calm down, they're very nice people. The only thing that would prevent me from returning in the future would be the price, it was a bit high buy the ticket.
