We visited in a pouring rain, and waiting in the long line outside was no fun because of the strong gusts of wind that kept turning our umbrellas inside out. The character actors are the castle did their best to fulfill their roles despite the weather, juggling, stilt walking, leering menacingly, etc. We visited after 2 pm and ran out of time well before we were able to see all that was available for touring. No photos are allowed inside any of the exhibits or in the chapel, and they keep a sharp eye out, busting offenders instantly. A couple of the Crown Jewels were out on loan to the royals. Hot chocolate was a highlight for the kids.
