I was admitted on Dec. 17 for shoulder surgery. After the surgery I was in sent to ICU. When I got there I meet the doctor in charge of the floor. He asked what is wrong with this patient. The reason I was sent there is very low blood during surgery. Next remark out of his mouth was. Why WAS I SENT TO ICU TO BE BABYSAT. Doctors words. He thought I I did not need to be sent there. I will never use JFK again. That doctor or jerk as I will call him needs lessons in manners and educate. That was the first negative encounter. Second I was in severe pain from 01:30 until 08:50 when my doc came in. That would be Dr. Routman Still never received any meds. that worked I was told by the nurse hat they could not administer certain drugs on that floor. (ICU) The hospital preaches that they pride themselves on patient comfort. I will send this statement to the media
