There are a lot of politics here & the teacher's love playing games - they are nice to your face but otherwise extremely rude. They have their designated favorites and I felt like the teachers go out of their way to make it hard to succeed. My 8th grader was coloring, cutting, pasting and gluing like a 1st grader. Their curriculum in the sciences and history is extremely weak. My daughter was studying the same book for close to 3 months - then she complained that the class had no time to read the other 2 books on their reading list for the year. Their teachers are under qualified & the MS principal is a glorified guidance counselor (she replaced the drunk one before her). A girl was groped by a teacher on the DC trip last year. I took all 3 of my children out of CDS immediately. Look elsewhere
