Review of Crowne Plaza Richmond West

So after working last night an getting to the hote...

So after working last night an getting to the hotel at 6am this morning.....

I check in and get told that there is a $6 tourism fee. I'm in Richmond, VA not Virginia Beach. Whatever paid the fee got a receipt. Over heard a clerk tell another guest that they wasn't getting their $50 deposit back over a stain on a towel. They also told another guest on the phone it was $50 extra upgrade fee for a flat screen TV in your room and $50 extra for two double beds instead of a king. These prices are per night.

I get up to the room and the light in the bathroom does not work and the curtains dont close. I really just wanna go to sleep. That is all. I call the front desk and get told he would move me to a different room. So only being in the room long enough to see the light and curtains I ho back down to get the new room keys.

He tells me that all the rooms are like that and let the light in. So he wanted to move me to an east facing room so more light could come in at that time of morning. When I told him I needed a west facing room so that less light would come in he threatened me with a bat and told me he would need to see the room I was leaving before he could put me in a new room at all and I was only gonna get an east facing room across the hall.

I told him an east facing room was not gonna happen and then he told me to leave and he was gonna call the police on me. Me wanting sleep gave up and just tried to go to sleep in the room with the broken light.......

Only to be disturbed all morning with phone calls and bangs on the door and then supposedly they were testing the fire alarm too.

That is now why I am awake writing this.

They booted me from the hotel and injured my hand. I am writing this from st. Mary's hospital down the road.
