Room reserved under the family and friends discount, was advised by a manager, the "code" on the form was expired. I spoke with my family member who provided me the form, who advised me to go to the Sheraton, the Sheraton took the exact same form I provided at the Westin and acknowledged the discount. I am not sure what the issue was at the Westin.
The Westin almost most ruined my third Wedding anniversary, however The Sheraton made our trip to Memphis one of our best trips.
Terrible service by the Westin. I would have rather them be honest and explain since there was a Memphis Grizzlies game on the day we were checking in, they wanted full price for the suite I reserved instead of it being under the friends and family discount rate.
