A genuine review of why you shouldn't use Trussle.

1. I submitted a joint mortgage application with my partner yet Trussle failed to include me in all emails. Frustrating because I felt constantly in the dark.

2. Incredibly slow - at times we waited weeks for a response from either the case manager or the mortgage adviser. We had to chase them on updates etc - exactly what you don't want to do.

3. They provided our potential mortgage lender the wrong address of the property we planned on buying resulting in the surveyor almost viewing the wrong property. No apology was given.

4. When I asked the case manager to call us as we had concerns, she refused to and instead wanted us to tell her what the issue was over email.

5. From mortgage application submission to outcome, it took almost a month.

Trussle operate as a start-up so expect very little. I lost confidence in them a couple of weeks in but my partner is an early adopter so wanted to see what they were about. Unfortunately, I do not recommend them and think you should stick to local mortgage brokers or others e.g. London and Country.
