As partners and donors, it is essential to reflect on the ethics and accountability of the organizations we support. Serious concerns have emerged from within World Vision’s Ukraine response — particularly in the Dnipro office — where leadership misconduct, abuse of power, and systematic cover-ups have been reportedly taking place under the supervision of individuals such as Area Manager Andriy Pavlov.

Internal complaints and calls for transparency have allegedly been ignored or silenced by senior management, including Arman Grigoryan, Danae Psilla, and Aida Arakelyan, leading to the dismissal or resignation of committed staff who simply stood up for basic humanitarian values.

This raises critical questions: Are we comfortable partnering with an organization that turns a blind eye to unethical behavior? Are we okay with a culture where protecting corrupt leadership is prioritized over the quality and impact of humanitarian projects?

Accountability must not be selective. A humanitarian mission loses its meaning when morality is sacrificed for internal politics.
