Review of Dick Kelly Real Estate Company

This has to be the most unprofessional, rude, and filthiest real estate agency in the country. I will start by saying DO NOT RENT FROM THEM OR LET THEM MANAGE YOUR PROPERTY.

Let's just start with the list of issues I dealt with while living in the home they "managed".

1)After about a month of living in the residence, the A/C had went out in the middle of June 2016. I called and submitted a maintenance request online. They got back to me like some 4 hours later and told me that they would have someone to look at it the next day and that there were 2 window A/C units in the attic. So I used those for about a week and a half, mind you the whole time the thermostat in my house was reading 85+ everyday even with the window units. It took them a week to get someone to come out and fix it. COMPLETELY TOO LONG in the middle of summer where outside temps were well over 95+.

2)Our shower pipe in our spare bathroom had busted. They hired the worst company to come repair and it took them over a month to do so. I had to take time off work just to meet the repair company at my house numerous times. They didn't even replace the tile in the shower with matching tile. And not to mention it took Dick Kelly Real Estate, or our Property Manager, Cathy Ralston, like 2 weeks to even acknowledge the maintenance request.

3) Just last winter in 2017 my wife and I went without heat for almost an entire month. I had called their office and told them numerous times that it was below 45 degrees in the house. And they told me to come down and pick up 2 small little electric heaters. Upon walking in the office, the girl at the front desk proceeded to tell me that I needed to suck it up, and that everyone goes without heat at some point. First off, we went without for almost a month. Last time I checked, someone who was paying upwards of $1400 a month to rent shouldn't have to have this many issues, none the less, go without heat in the middle of winter for a month.

All in all, Dick Kelly Real Estate are scam artists, and they are HORRIBLE at their job. I can't even believe the owners of the house we lived in let them manage their property. They are lazy, and not prompt at all when it comes to maintenance requests.

DO NOT RENT FROM THEM OR LET THEM MANAGE YOUR PROPERTY. Trust me, I found out the hard way!
