This was my first - and last - time here. The mini-golf itself was fun as we were with some good friends. The ease of navigation around the course, however, was abysmal.

Several in our party, including me, had A LOT of trouble getting around. When you've got joint and/or balance issues, it's close to impossible to get around safely. What would help tremendously is if there were more rails to hold onto and the gradings weren't so steep and uneven. Luckily there were other people around to help me and the others experiencing difficulty with navigation get to where we had to go safely. Thank you total strangers, you were a massively appreciated help!

I noticed many other folks having the same issues - grandparents accompanying their grandchildren and a few older folks there for a nice evening out. Even the able-bodied folks in our party were, at times, experiencing difficulty.

Until some safety measures are put in place to make the course more navigable, Blackbeard's Cave will not be getting any further business from our group.

On the upside, I did enjoy the factoids that were posted at each hole regarding Jersey's piratical history.
