If this happened to me it could happen to someone ...

If this happened to me it could happen to someone else. Avoid going here at all costs. Feigned kindness is used to veil abuse. I was put on a mental health hold in which my reason for being there was extremely exaggerated. I was held against my will for two weeks, but finally released before appointed an attorney. They gave me a PH liquid that could have made me blind for my contact lenses. When I pointed this out a nurse took it saying "what is this doing here?" They put it there for me, directly next to my contact case. Most of the visitors were actors there for entertainment, and didn't usually stay long. The place is made super cold so you have to bring blankets or warm clothes, and not make yourself overheat trying to stay warm. The food was high in sugar, dairy, and did not mix well with the medications they had me on. I asked for vegetarian meals multiple times in which I received meat over and over again with the labels on the boxes that said vegetarian. They want you to be compliant and not stand up for yourself. THEY DO NOT RESPECT YOUR RIGHTS! It is clearly stated that you have the right to refuse medication. If you stand up for yourself and refuse they say you're suddenly an emergency and inject you with the medication. I thought I was having what felt like a stroke in reaction to the medication and they wouldn't allow me to get medical help. The only way I could get help was if I pulled the fire alarm, which I did. Instead of receiving medical assistance I was strapped down and injected with sedatives while screaming at the fire men to help me, which they didn't as the staff intercepted them. Also, they took my blood while I was unconscious without my consent. The guy who facilitates the "positive" group sessions picks his teeth with the cross he wears around his neck while talking about not having any cords or straps in the facility. They are not concerned with your health, although they'll put on the facade they are. Stay healthy and stay safe.
