Overnight campers are not a priority for this camp...

Overnight campers are not a priority for this campground. Upon check in We were given a map to locate 3 open spots that were not annual (not sure what that meant) spots in phase 3. There are no markings as to what is open and what is not! Finally found the 3 the manager had suggested (after about 1-1/2 of pulling campers around loops) and these were grass areas with no fire pits, no picnic tables and no real parking spot. Upon attempting to hook up to what we thought was our water supply, a tenant that stated he had been there 5 years didn t want to unhook one of his 2 hoses so we could have water. My husband voiced his objection and the annual tenant stated in 5 years no one had camped on the sites behind him. I made the comment I would call the park office, he changed his disposition And was polite after that and even let us borrow a longer power cord. We noticed on a drive around the park phase 2 had numerous spots open and when I asked the manager why she didn t put us there she said it was like a swamp and didnt want to inconvenience us Our son and I had paid reservations for almost 2 months and my sister had hers for a week. We paid 138.00 each for 2 nights at one of the most uncomfortable camp grounds we have ever been too!
This campground needs to update sites, Electric box s, water outlets, site numbers, annual tenant or open for a weekender.
Need to design a designated area with amenities for the weekend camper, due to 92% of this park is annual tenants. This needs to listed as a RV residential community.
PS, the lady manager needs some time off due to she told us she was overwhelmed and overworked and I witnessed that!
We were very disappointed and will not return.
