I recently attended a retreat with a ministry that focuses on combining outdoor experiences with spiritual guidance. While the location was beautiful and the staff were friendly, I found the overall experience to be lacking. The activities were enjoyable, but I didn't feel a strong connection to the spiritual teachings and discussions. The retreat didn't provide the transformative experience I was hoping for. It was an average retreat at best.
