We were very fortunate that reception fit us in at the very last minute. We spent the day touring and wanted to go and see the Cape Otway Lighthouse the following day and came in late in the afternoon. My husband went in and spoke to reception, which he said they were very friendly and accommodating.
We were put in the overflow camping area (unpowered) and warned us that it would be busy as it was definitely a busy time (Dec/ Jan). We found the facilities absolutely fantastic - showers are really hot too!
The camping Marshall in the overflow camping area was working his absolute butt off to ensure he could accommodate for all campers.
We met some very friendly people near us also.
I don t understand why there are negative comments regarding service. And as for charging $1 for a 3 minute shower, who cares! At the end of the day, they are operating a business and want to ensure the facilities are looked after by caring people rather than looters.
Nothing but good things to say and we will be back if and when we come back to the area.
