If I rated all my truck driving companies from 1-1...

If I rated all my truck driving companies from 1-100%, the worst one would get a 63% until I reached Air-Land. I'd give them 12%. In other words, worst job ever and no other company came close to that.

From their low pay, "stand pay", local pay, worst ever mileage pay, they always found out ways of not paying you.

The company did not care whether you were out of hours or not. Run the load no matter what. If you don't start on time the next day, you will pay. There were weeks I only made $200. And good luck figuring out your pay check.

Good luck trying to contact dispatch. They had computers in the truck and never used them. Oh no, they didn't want proof that they were forcing you to drive illegally. Call on the phone and it might take you 30-45 minutes to contact anyone.

I've been told to go sit under a load for another driver because he was running out of hours or had a flat tire. No pay for those hours. Wait on load for 4-6 hours and be told, "Sorry, they are customers who don't pay stand time."

When I ran out of hours, night dispatch said to "hit a ramp for a couple of hours then get going." I refused and got written up.

They have electronic logs now. It changes nothing. If the drivers run out of hours (and they will if they want to make any money) they just turn that computer off. Problem solved.

So, do yourself a favor and run far away from this company. They lie, cheat, won't ever back you, you'll get write-ups often, and you'll never build wealth while wasting your time here.

The benefits are also poor. And pre-employment physical testing is a waste of time and ridiculous expense that Air-Land wastes that they could be using to give their drivers fair pay. This is an awful company.
