I was operated on at the Monaldi hospital in Naples on 29 May 2018 by dr. Vincenzo Cimmino in Day Surgery of inguinal hernia. I was very scared (indeed, terrified) of the surgery, but Dr. Cimmino managed to reassure me, to make everything seem simple, straightforward, while not hiding possible unexpected operators and post operators. A serene, friendly, smiling and sincere conversation from which a great humanity and high professionalism transpired. The surgery went great! While operating under local anesthesia, he tried to calm me down like a dear friend. I followed his instructions scrupulously in the post-operative period, I did not feel any pain, I move well and already three days after the surgery I walked for over 4 km without any discomfort. Thanks dr. Cimmino! We would need many doctors like her, who do not put themselves on the pedestal to magnify their virtues and their knowledge, but stand next to the patient with the smile of a friend. Besides being an excellent surgeon, you are truly a respectable person!
