I've NEVER written a review before any where but felt compelled to. God forgive me. Names of who I spoke to will be left out for confidentiality. In a nutshell though, be wary of using NNMC for outpatient surgery.

My son was scheduled for hip arthroscopy at NNMC on 2/24/2020. As soon as I got news of this I called for an appointment to pre-register on 2/13/2020. As instructed by the recording I left a message. It's worth noting that the recording stated that multiple messages would result in delays. When I had not received a return call by 2/18/2020 I decided to call again. Luckily I talked to a real person who told me my insurance was not accepted, which it is, but that's a different story. I needed to talk to some one else. So I left a message with that person. Once again no return call.

I called AGAIN on 2/20/2020 and was told that while NNMC is a approved facility on my plan, what they are re-reimbursed is a fraction of what the total charges are. To save me a balance of 10's of thousands of dollars they frequently deny use of my plan. Understandable. However I wish I was told this back on 2/13/2020 or even 2/14/2020 instead of 2 business days before my son was scheduled for surgery so I could start making alternative arrangements to get him treated. Further more, I was the one who had to persist and keep calling in order to get this information.
