The Excelsior Rome is a grande hotel centrally located to the tourist area. The rooms feature high ceilings and some or quite ornate. I suggest the front facing rooms some of which have a small standing balcony. There is also a spa, pool and hot tub (which is really a cold tub) that can be refreshing on a hot warm day. The bathrooms were more standard and the hallways were not really inspiring. Concierge services provided some good dining options and were helpful.
