Late review. Visited the shelter and adopted our bundle of joy January 2019. We had two dogs in mind from looking at the website. My husband & I went to the shelter where we got to meet them one at a time in a private room (The day prior I had also went there by myself and got the application out of the way.) We talked a short time visited more & were never rushed the woman assisting us was super friendly. After we decided which dog we wanted to adopt we went to pay and they got some paperwork together to sign. We had a different woman helping us with the finalization of the adoption. I brought a leash but not a collar as I had been there years ago I knew I could buy a temporary one there, woman seemed put off by that. I didn t know what size to get or I would have brought one with me lol. Also my dog s other breed (Since she s a mix of 2) was not disclosed to us. I have a couple of assumptions as to why. You could have told us we still would have wanted her. I have respect & love for all breeds. She s the perfect combo of intelligence, playfulness, love and protection.
