After working for numerous healthcare companies in my years of experience, North Shore Healthcare pales in comparison on so many levels.
They hire you in with promises of grandeur, only to fall exponentially short on making good on these promises.
Promises of an exceptional support center (their way of shying away from calling it corporate. The support center is anything but supportive. VPO leadership is geared specifically for skilled nursing, having little to no experience with assisted living; leaving building leadership hanging in the dark. The orientation, training and onboarding process is severely lacking, leaving leadership to learn and grow on their own, with little to no direction. It s a sink or swim experience. Communication from the divisional leadership team (aka support center) is little to none. Texts are ignored. Calls aren t returned. Emails go days without responses. If you receive a response, it s filled with lie after lie; leaving building leadership to figure it out and tell the frontline team members I m waiting on a response or the support center is working on it and I m waiting on a reply. When someone is reprimanded, it s the blame game, with no chance of explanation-they just terminate. Same thing goes for bringing issues or concerns forward, you re retaliated against and let go. Please, do yourself a favor and continue your search for employment elsewhere, as you won t receive any of the promises made when interviewing.
