We visited Rancho de las Golondrinas during their Herb and Lavender festival yesterday. There were lots of vendors selling goods made with lavender, including soaps, honey, tea, and more. The sandwiches and salads we ordered onsite from "two sprout farm" were FANTASTIC. It was very interesting walking around and seeing the historical buildings and how people used to live. Reenactors showed and explained to us how they used looms. It was especially cool to see the blacksmith making nails, and he let kids keep them nails he made as souvenirs. We didn't make it to the back half of the property (because we did a big hike in the morning), but if I lived in New Mexico, I would definitely visit again!
