Absolutely love sea life centres and this one is very good as well. The London one is bigger though so if you're choosing between birmingham and London you'd be better with London. Some enclosures do seem a little bit small for the animals in them such as the underwater part for the seals. A general issue we found was the amount of children even during term time. There seemed to be about 3 different school trips happening at the same time with children running around and pushing into places as well as shouting. Although there are time slots allocated it seems that people can go in whenever they want to nearest to their entry time so there was a constant flow of people and children so that you couldn't try to wait for a while for other people to progress on. It would have been better if large groups have their own time slot so they are not entering with everyone else and can do whatever they need to as a group as there also seemed to be a lot of moving backwards as wel as forwards. The amount of noise and business did slightly ruin the mood of seeing the fish which you'd expect to be calming.
