Have always loved this place. Had a particularly good visit for my daughters birthday on the 20th November.

As I was booking tickets the night before I was disappointed to see that my favourite animals the gentoo penguins are not on display for a week for essential maintenance. Because of this we were offered a free return. I was expecting a free return within a couple of months but its actually valid until the end of next year which is fantastic.

One thing that impressed me was the staff who I normally don't notice here. All very friendly.

The sea tunnel at the end was beautiful as ever but for the first time the sea turtle was resting right by the window which meant I was able to study and take pictures of the beautiful animal up close.

I can't wait for my return visit!
