Purchased $100,000 cargo insurance through Alexander & Alexander for a 2000 Astro van pulling a small bumper pull utility trailer. Upon an accident that we had ,Alexander & Alexander claimed that they do not cover bumper pull trailers only gooseneck and 5th wheel. Although we told them it was a small utility trailer on an Astro van and they have the VIN number ,Jeff told us he cannot look up a VIN number for a trailer and we never told him it was bumper pull. Apparently you can pull a gooseneck or fifth wheel with a cargo van let alone a small Astro van. Needless to say this company did not cover us for a $4,000 bill , what a poor excuse for an insurance company. The company Alexander & Alexander put us through was Lloyd's of London. After the accident and excuses from Jeff he offered us insurance that would cover bumper pull after they just said no to covering $4,000 in Damages, just like the commercial, you got the wrong insurance ,no I got the wrong Insurance Company
